The NFC will see some of the same faces in the playoffs this year, but those faces will not be going as far as they may think. The rich get richer, as the Atlanta Falcons again have a solid draft, while the 15-1 Los Angeles Rams only added the most explosive playmaker in the game today, Odell Beckham Jr. in a brinks truck Free Agency steal. There apparently is a new “Dream Team” and they don’t need to show ID. The races will be very tight in all divisions, and I can honestly see a 12-4 team being left out of the wild card chase. On to the predictions (Order is predicted seed finish within NFC)

Los Angeles Rams helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: Wafflevandam Overall: 83 (#1 Seed, Loss in Divisional Round)

Best Overall Player:

DE Aaron Donald 99 OVR

2018 Stats: 77 Tackles, 23 TFLs, 19.5 Sacks

Best Draft Pick:

The Rams…Wow. Already the defending one seed, although with a disappointing playoff performance, they add OBJ. The defense is solid, but offensively this team could be a power house. Unfortunately, their playoff hopes die early again.

Philadelphia Eagles helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: Dap Overall: 87 (#2 Seed, Loss in Divisional Round)

Best Overall Player:

DT Fletcher Fox 96 OVR

2018 Stats: 54 Tackles, 14 TFLs, 5.5 Sacks, 1 FF

Best Draft Pick:

Does it feel like people are overlooking the Eagles? Quiet offseason. Quiet draft. Ownership not as active around league offices…but then…BAM. 13-3. The team is still stacked, they could have added a playmaker or two to protect against when their run game is shut down. They enjoy a first round bye, but playoff disappointment will strike again.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: Miles Strane Overall: 84 (#3 Seed, Loss in Wild Card Round)

Best Overall Player:

WR Mike Evans 95 OVR

2018 Stats: 62 Rec, 1062 Yards, 10 TDs

m evans

Best Draft Pick:

g hundley

The Bucs will take perhaps the best division in the Sim Association. They will have offensive and defensive stats galore. Pro Bowlers, awards. All of it. But when they get to the dance, trouble will strike. Trouble’s name? David Johnson

Detroit Lions helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: BlackPaw Overall: 86 (#4 Seed, Super Bowl Champion)

Best Overall Player:

TE Greg Olsen 96 OVR

2018 Stats: w/CAR 65 Rec, 992 Yards, 5 TDs

g olsen

Best Draft Pick:

d tyson

Here is your pick. The Detroit Lions will bring the Championship to the Motor City. Loaded on offense, with a defense that has improved, Detroit can now play the rest of the season with a bullseye on thier back. Congrats. Ask the Falcons how that works for them.

New Orleans Saints helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: Dakota Overall: 89 (#5 Seed, Loss in Wild Card Round)

Best Overall Player:

WR Michael Thomas 93 OVR

2018 Stats: 83 Rec, 1635 Yards, 12 TDs

m thomas

Best Draft Pick:

d burress

Honestly, if they weren’t playing Detroit in round one, I would pick the Saints for the title. Kizer has grown to become an #elite Quarterback for the Saints. They just keep adding weapons, and now they have Tyreke Hill for an entire season. Yikes.

Arizona Cardinals helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: mr_2teamz Overall: 84 (#6 Seed, Loss in NFC Championship Game)

Best Overall Player:

RB David Johnson 98 OVR

2018 Stats: 256 Att, 1217 Yards, 11 TDs

d johnson

Best Draft Pick:

m golliday

A Cinderella 6th seed NFC championship run for the Arizona Cardinals? It has happened before. Quarterback play will be the issue here. Can it be consistent enough? I say no. That’s why they are a six seed, and that’s why they won’t win it all. But when the QB is right, the Cardinals are one of the toughest to beat.

Minnesota Vikings helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: John Fichera Overall: 90

Best Overall Player:

FS Harrison Smith 94 OVR

2018 Stats: 78 Tackles, 5 TFLs, 6 INTs, 22 Defl, 6 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD

h smith

Best Draft Pick:

k herrick

A monster team. Talent everywhere. Offense, defense, special teams. But do they take enough chances at the right times to win big games? Are the Vikings confident enough in their Quarterback situation? The defense is elite, but outstanding wide receivers can exploit weaknesses. The Vikings are 12-4, and are out.

Atlanta Falcons helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: Studley021 Overall: 92

Best Overall Player:

WR Julio Jones 99 OVR

2018 Stats: 61 Rec, 1053 Yards, 10 TDs

j jones

Best Draft Pick:

d hayes

Oh the Falcons. The most talented roster in the Sim Association. I just cant’t do it again. Also, the South is a blood bath. No gimmies. All the main guys will get their stats. Does someone want to block Vic Beasley Jr.? It’s allowed.

Washington Redskins helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: ataric Overall: 85

Best Overall Player:

TE Jordan Reed 97 OVR

2018 Stats: 61 Rec, 994 Yards, 9 TDs

j reed

Best Draft Pick:

r lenon

Lenon will be a major upgrade, and hopefully the ‘Skins will take some focus off of Reed in the passing game. Their division is beatable. Is there enough talent on defense to compete for the East? One more year though, and I think Washington will make some noise.

Green Bay Packers helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: ChiefMoe Overall: 86

Best Overall Player:

QB Aaron Rodgers 99 OVR

2018 Stats: 337/543 62%, 5018 Yards, 28 TDs/39 INTs

a rodgers

Best Draft Pick:

k harper

Offense. Offense. Offense. The run game stepped up last season to go with one of the most persistent passing attacks in the Sim Association. If the defense can be middle of the pack, the Pack (get it) will be in contention for the North crown.

Dallas Cowboys helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: abombish Overall: 90

Best Overall Player:

RG Zach Martin 98 OVR

2018 Stats: 16 Starts, 4 Sacks Allowed

z martin

Best Draft Pick:

b landeta

A talented roster, with stars, the Cowboys will once again compete for the East or a wild card berth. There are just too many teams ahead of them. They made a shrewd move in acquiring a #1 pick for next year. Perhaps Dallas is planning for a monster run next season.

Carolina Panthers helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: tigers20 Overall: 87

Best Overall Player:

MLB Luke Kuechly 99 OVR

2018 Stats: 121 Tackles, 16 TFLs, 4.5 Sacks, 4 INTs, 13 Defl, 5 FF, 1 FR, 1 Sft

l keuchly

Best Draft Pick:

t daniels

Carolina. The land of BBQ and Cam. When will Superman be super again? Cam is the key to any success, and Panthers’ ownership knows it. There is talent on both sides of the ball, but the turnover bug must be controlled for the Panthers to compete for a wild card

 San Francisco 49ers helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner:  ipodprincechris Overall: 85

Best Overall Player:

TE Rob Gronkowski 99 OVR

2018 Stats: w/NE 52 Rec, 826 Yards, 6 TDs

r gronk

Best Draft Pick:

m maysonet

Dream Team assemble!!! The 49ers went through a major rebuild in the offseason. Trading key, young pieces, benching others, while acquiring a plethora of aging to old talent. Ownership obviously has a style, and idea of their own roster construction. I can’t fault that. 16-0 prediction? I can fault that. Good luck in the NFC. I see a top 15 draft position for San Francisco.

Seattle Seahawks helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner: TheShamelessProphet Overall: 82

Best Overall Player:

MLB Bobby Wagner 95 OVR

2018 Stats: 117 Tackles, 16 TFLs, 1.5 Sacks, 4 INTs, 8 Defl, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD

b wagner

Best Draft Pick:

t body

The Seahawks seem to be in rebuild mode, or have an identity crisis. They have a talented quarterback in Russell Wilson, but his weapons are mediocre or aging. Same with the defense. I am a “no tank” advocate, but Seattle needs to figure out an identity and make the moves to get back to the playoffs.

Chicago Bears helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner:  Jay Twizzle Overall: 83

Best Overall Player:

RB Jordan Howard 94 OVR

2018 Stats: 239 Att, 1422 Yards, 6 TDs

j howard

Best Draft Pick:

j gray

One of the most active teams in the offseason, here is another owner making moves to fit his philosophy. Aging vets have been jettisoned, while young, exciting players will be given the chance to show their skills. Here’s hoping we don’t see another interception record from the young QB Jay Twizzle III. Too much talent for all those picks.

New York Giants helmets 3_clipped_rev_1

Team Owner:  IVIontieth Overall: 80

Best Overall Player:

RB Le’Veon Bell 99 OVR

2018 Stats: 293 Att, 1506 Yards, 7 TDs

l bell

Best Draft Pick:

s miller

This slot is totally dependent on how many games are played by the CPU. The roster has been decimated by two elite players leaving in Free Agency, and the draft didn’t fill those holes. If Montieth plays the majority of the games this season, I could see a middle of the pack finish, even with this roster.
