2018 NFC SOUTH PREVIEW

2017 Finish – 1st 14-2 #2 Seed Lost in Super Bowl

Team Owner: Dakota7

OVERALL RATING: 85

Powerful offense, attacking defense. That is the New Orleans Saints, and led by Dakota7, those units accomplish that very well. The Super Bowl loss probably hurts, and losing Drew Brees will be a blow, but user controlled Quarterbacking seems to be a specialty for Dakota7. Patient and surgical, his offenses are always among the best in the Sim Association. Problem? The NFC is loaded, and almost everyone is better. It’s gonna be a tough road back to the Chip.

With the Saints, their defense is all about disrupting the QB by bringing relentless pressure. Probably the best in the league when it comes to disrupting the pass. Their offense last year was dynamic throwing and running the ball. The coach is really good at attacking your weaknesses. It will be interesting to see how they perform with Kizer under center and Peterson not at RB. The recent trade with the Bengals should benefit them greatly

Prediction – 2nd, Misses Playoffs

helmets 3_clipped_rev_1Atlanta Falcons

2017 Finish – 2nd 11-5 #6 Seed Lost in Wild Card Round

Team Owner: Studley021

OVERALL RATING: 89

Expectations were sky high for the Falcons. Matt Ryan finally got the respect he deserved, the roster was loaded, and Studley021 was determined. What happened? A vaunted NFC pushed Atlanta to the wild card, and then came the haunting of the playoffs for Studley021. The man can play. Both sides, but in the playoffs he turns into Rick Ankiel circa 2000 (Google it youngsters). The talent is still there, when will the Falcons break through?

The Falcons will be tough this year, as the team seems to be settling in on what their strengths are. I could see this team making it back to playoffs easily

Prediction – 1st, NFC #1 Seed, Super Bowl Champions

helmets 3_clipped_rev_1Carolina Panthers

2017 Finish – 3rd 7-9

Team Owner: Tigers20

OVERALL RATING: 86

A true jekyll and hyde team, and owner. The Panthers have enough talent, with skill positions filled everywhere. The key…Cam. Cam. Cam. Tigers20 has a love/hate relationship with the digital Cam Newton. What style will be played is my question. A two headed Tight End monster may have changed how Carolina attacks this season.

The Panthers are a team on the rise. Cam is a force to be reckoned with, but the scary part of that team is their defense. Kuechly and that defensive line are scary good.
